Today, we would like to announce that Tokujin's project "PHENOMENON" collection will be presented by Italian ceramic manufacture, Mutina, at Milan Salone del Mobile 2012.
"PHENOMENON" is a collection consists of "snow", "honey-comb", "rock" and "rain" series. The small ceramics creates the contrast of lights and shadow, which produces both depth and expanse to the space. Various expressions, such as honeycomb, snow crystal, icicle, plant cells evoke one's memory of the scenery in nature.
This collection was first presented in 2010, and has received several awards, such as Wallpaper* design award 2011, Elle Decor International Design Award 2011, and reddot design award.
